2. EXAM PREP AT ACNM ANNUAL MEETING!
Just like we take care of patients, we also need to care for ourselves. Recognizing our strengths and weaknesses, asking for help, and seeking out evidence-based resources are vital components of midwifery practice for our patients and ourselves. One of the best ways to care for yourself as a soon-to-graduate midwife or recently graduated midwife is to adequately prepare for the certification exam.
Your Exam Prep team of Missi Stec, DNP, Nicole Rouhana, PhD, and Cara Busenhart, PhD, have worked diligently over the past 6 years to develop the exam prep resources presented by ACNM (the “green” book, online modules, and face-to-face exam prep workshop offered at the Annual Meeting). The Exam Prep workshop is the premier product, with an opportunity to interact with content, questions, peers, and faculty!
Review of each AMCB content area allows the opportunity to recognize gaps in knowledge, as well as reassure the learner of areas of mastery. Additionally, interactive cases and test-taking skills are reviewed in an informal, fun environment.
Let us help you with your plan of self-care. Join us during for our Exam Prep Workshop sessions, Saturday May 20, from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and Sunday, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We’re just what the midwife ordered!
