Call for Abstracts

We welcome abstracts that reflect on our 71st Annual Meeting theme, This Is Our Moment: Midwives Transforming the World. 

All abstracts submitted for oral presentations must present material beyond Core Competencies for Basic Midwifery Practice. General Session submissions will be blind peer-reviewed by the ACNM Program Committee members and concordant ACNM Committees’ liaisons. Research submissions will be blind peer-reviewed by the Research and Standards Committee and their appointees.

ACNM is aware of and paying close attention to shifting political and legal landscapes that may impact submissions. Safety to travel based on immigration status or gender identity may serve as a barrier for some. Furthermore, we continue to encourage topics such as diversity/equity/inclusion, abortion access, and reproductive freedom. Please know that if abstracts are accepted but presenters are unable to attend, they may be offered the opportunity to share their expertise via ACNM's Webinar series.
